The complete acceptance
Of the bodily warmth of your Surroundings,
Leads your thoughts astray.

Even the crook in your lower back
Occupies your time
More than whatever it is
That you are supposed to do.

How many hours are spent
In this lost limbo?
Somewhere in between your eyes
And what you really see.

Todays piece comes from Christopher J Player. This is our first piece by him. In this piece, Chris presents a familiar question to many of us (especially those writers amongst us). Ask yourself, how many times have you found yourself in this exact thought pattern, in this “lost limbo”?

As always leave your thoughts below and share this piece. Follow us for more new poetry by up-and-coming authors and news of whats going on in our corner of the literary world.
