Hello all. Well, it’s Sunday again, so time for us to look back and reflect at the week with one of our poetry readings by the author.

This week we have gone with the eminent Irish poet William Butler Yeats. This is a recording of him from 1932, 1934 and the last on 28 October 1937 when he was 72, reading a selection of his own verse.

It has always intrigued us to hear poetry in the voice of the author themselves, and this recording is certainly powerful and evocative, losing none of it’s impact over the years. Sit back, relax and absorb yourself in the words of the poet.
