Good afternoon all. Welcome to another weekend poetry reading, where we try to find the best of poetry read by the poet themselves.

Seeing as we’ve just had St. Davids Day, we figured it would only be fitting to get a bit of Thomas on the go today. This piece has always charmed us, and we feel that it sits amongst his greatest poems. First published in 1945 in Horizon magazine, this piece captivates the reader and draws them into a whimsical, magical world of Thomas’s devising. Easily one of our favourite poems by one of the 20th Centuries greatest poets.
